Mics include: Shure, AKG, Audiotecnica, ADK, Sennheiser,
etc.
We offer both tube and Class A solid state preamps for pristine, transparent,
audio.
Rane headphone amps & Sony Pro Studio heaphones provide ample great monitoring
to ensure you can perform to your best ability.
We are a Mac based facility and we operate the most current operating systems
and software. Our recording software of choice is DP (Digital Performer) which
is compatible with a host of third part plug ins and can read and write industry
standard audio files compatible with all major DAWs including Pro Tools, Logic,
Cubase, and others.

All joking aside, there is really no such thing as one standard when it comes
to audio, video or anything else! That’s why it’s important to plan
in advance if you are going to be working in more than one studio or on more
than one computer.
Fortunately, we at SWS have a lot of experience with various audio, video, and
graphic design formats.
SWS records in high resolution digital directly to external Firewire hard drives.
Additional formats include: Tascam DA-88 (24-track), DAT, CD-R, CD-RW, DVD, MP3s,
and Sony MD (mini-disc). Of course, standard audio CDs are always available for
reviewing your project at home or on the go.
Please let us know if you are planning to import or export a project to our studio
and we will work any third party enigineers to ensure a smooth, stress-free translation
or conversion if neccessary. |
